Division of tasks
The plant manufactures your component. Inspection, customs and storage are handled by us in Velbert.
Your components are made in plants in China, Taiwan and Turkey that we have worked with for decades. Production follows your drawing and only starts after the initial sample has been approved.
This pays off for medium and larger series. For smaller quantities, we check whether a plant in Europe is more economical. You order from a German GmbH that purchases independently of manufacturers. We take care of finding suppliers, coordinating across time zones, customs clearance and storage.
Process
International sourcing in twelve stages.
01
Inquiry
To start, a drawing, standard or item number is enough, plus quantity and requested delivery date.
02
Technical review
We check material, tolerances and surface in advance together with your engineering department.
03
Plant and process
Geometry, quantity and delivery date decide which plant and which process fit.
Only what you have checked and approved on the initial sample goes into series production.
04
Sampling
You receive an initial sample with documentation and then approve series production.
05
Series production
Production takes place in the partner plant that is set up for the chosen process.
06
Quality assurance
Before shipping, the goods are inspected against the characteristics agreed in the order.
Freight, paperwork and customs clearance land with us, not in your purchasing department.
07
Documentation
Every delivery comes with the documents specified in the order for your component.
08
Transport
If several of your components are running at the same time, we combine them in one shipment.
09
Import and customs
Customs clearance is handled by us, and we agree tariff classification and origin with you.
From here, we deliver from Germany, at the pace your production sets.
10
Warehouse in Germany
After import, the goods are held in our warehouse in Velbert, ready for call-offs.
11
Call-off
You call off agreed partial quantities whenever and as often as your production needs them.
12
Delivery
We deliver to the location you specify. You clarify any queries directly in Velbert.
Your contractual partner is based in Germany.
You order from a German GmbH in Velbert, not from a plant in Ningbo or Bursa. We are your sourcing service provider: quotation, invoice and queries all go through us, in English or German and in your time zone.
Because goods arrive from the plants continuously, several of your components can be consolidated in one shipment. Freight and handling are then spread across more items.

Our independence is your added value.
With our headquarters in Velbert and an international network of 18 independent production sites in 8 countries, we combine regional proximity to our customers with global production options.
Because we are not tied to individual production locations or manufacturing capacity of our own, we can select suitable manufacturing partners for each technical requirement. This creates technological diversity, competitive sourcing options, flexible production capacity and broader protection of our supply chains.
For our customers, this means one central contact, an international manufacturing network and individual solutions from a single source.

International manufacturing network
18 plants in 8 countries, one warehouse in Velbert.
Our manufacturing partners are legally independent, specialised companies in Germany, France, Italy, Turkey, China, Taiwan, Vietnam and India.
Blanket order
Made in volume.
Under a blanket order, the plant produces large lots at an economical unit price. We import them, store them in Germany, and you call off agreed partial quantities at short notice. The price advantage comes from abroad, the security of supply from Germany.
Two runs, twelve call-offs.
The plant produces in a few large lots. Call-offs are made in small quantities, as often as your production needs them.
Stock in Germany.
Your call-off does not depend on sea freight and customs, because the goods are already in Germany. It takes days instead of weeks.
Documentation
Every document answers a question about your component.
We define in the order, before sampling, which documents belong with your delivery. Depending on the product, there are these eight, from the material certificate to the certificate of conformity.
REACH
Does your component contain substances of very high concern?
RoHS
Does your component comply with the substance limits for electrical equipment?
Material certificate
What material is your component made of, and who confirms it?
Inspection report
Which dimensions and characteristics were measured, and with what result?
CoC
Does the delivery match what was ordered and approved?
Origin
In which country was your component manufactured for customs purposes?
Customs documents
With what information were the goods declared on import?
CBAM
What emissions are embedded in the imported steel or aluminium?
Questions
What purchasing and engineering ask.
01
Who is liable for customs problems?
We handle the import and agree tariff classification, declaration of origin and import duties with you in advance. Who takes on which customs role in each case is set out in writing before the first delivery. You receive the shipment documents for your own review.
02
How long does the first procurement take?
For parts to drawing that do not require new tooling, the first sample takes an average of 3–6 weeks. If new tooling is required, it may take longer. We assess the sample lead time individually and clarify it with you promptly; you receive the inspection documentation at the same time as the samples. Delivery times are available on request, assessed individually by item, manufacturing process and project scope.
03
What happens if a partner plant drops out?
We work with multiple sourcing: for most items, more than one plant is qualified. If one drops out, the drawing goes to another site and is sampled again there. Stock in Germany bridges the changeover.
04
Which documents do we receive with the delivery?
We define this for each component in the order before sampling. The usual documents are the material certificate, inspection report and information on origin and customs. REACH or RoHS information is added if your product requires it. NORM+DREH is an officially authorised CBAM declarant.
05
From what quantity does global sourcing pay off?
For medium and larger series, because tooling, freight and handling are spread over many components. For smaller quantities, we check whether a plant in Europe is more economical and tell you so openly.
06
Can we adjust a blanket order later?
Yes. Quantity, call-off rhythm and packaging can be changed during the term, as long as the current production run is not affected. Changes that affect price or delivery date are put in writing before they take effect.
