Identifying demand, obtaining quotations, ordering, receiving goods, posting the invoice: every step takes working time, for every item and no matter how cheap the component is. These process costs per order item appear on no invoice. The calculation example shows this using a screw.
What we take off your hands
Fewer ordering processes, predictable replenishment.
C-parts have a low value but still cause a high procurement effort.
Sourcing, stockholding and replenishment are handled by us, for standard parts as well as special parts and parts made to drawing, with a suitable C-parts system on request.
An invoice without a part
What a C-part really costs.
Value of one screw. One square in the grid corresponds to exactly this amount.
Blanket orders, also for special parts.
Under a blanket order, you agree the product range, price basis and your annual quantity once. The partner plants produce the quantity in large lots, we import it and hold it in stock with us or in the partner warehouse. You call off partial quantities when your production needs them, and invoicing only takes place on delivery.
This also applies to special parts and parts made to drawing, not only to standard parts from the catalogue. Once the drawing has been clarified and the initial sample approved, you call off as with catalogue goods. Whether you speak of a framework agreement and call-off order or of a blanket order and call-off: for fasteners, it works the same way.

Call-off in days instead of weeks.
Without a blanket order, production only starts with your order. Delivery times are available on request and depend on the item, manufacturing process and project scope. With a blanket order, the goods are held in stock and ready, with us or in the partner warehouse. After your call-off, we then deliver within 5 to 7 days.
We agree together for each item how call-offs work: by call-off schedule, via a minimum stock level or by demand notification. We manage the stock, and your storage space stays free. Our guide explains how a blanket order with call-off differs from other stock models.

Report demand
Three ways to report demand.
Which option suits you depends on how predictable your consumption is. Fixed demand runs via a call-off schedule, fluctuating demand via a minimum stock level. If you prefer to report it yourself, you can do so by email, phone or order. The options can be combined.
Call-off schedule
Fixed dates, fixed quantities.
You know your demand over the year. We deliver the agreed partial quantity on the agreed date from stock in Germany.
You
Set dates and quantities once
We
Deliver on schedule, without a prompt
Minimum stock
Replenishment before stock runs low.
Each item has a threshold. If stock falls below it, we replenish. This suits components with fluctuating consumption.
You
Set the threshold per item once
We
Monitor stock, replenish
Demand notification
You report, we check.
You send us your demand by email, by phone or as an order. We check the notification against the blanket order and trigger the delivery. If something does not match, we call you.

Questions
What buyers ask about C-parts management.
01
What is C-parts management?
By common definition, in C-parts management the supplier takes over sourcing, stockholding and replenishment of low-value components. The aim is lower process costs, because with C-parts the ordering process often costs more than the goods. We implement it with a blanket order covering your annual quantity and delivery on call-off, also for special parts and parts made to drawing, not only for standard parts.
02
How does a blanket order with call-off work?
You agree the product range, price basis and annual quantity once in the blanket order. The goods are produced in large lots, imported and held in stock with us or in the partner warehouse. You call off partial quantities, and invoicing takes place on delivery. Quantity, call-off rhythm and packaging can be changed during the term. Anything that affects price or delivery date is put in writing.
03
When does a blanket order pay off?
The deciding factor is rarely the quantity, but the number of ordering processes. If you order the same item several times a year, the process costs arise again with every order. We look at your parts list and order frequency and tell you which items are suitable for call-off and which you are better off buying individually.
04
Does NORM+DREH run a consignment stock?
No, or only for selected customers. In a consignment stock, the supplier's goods are kept at the customer's site and are only invoiced on withdrawal. In over 90% of cases, we work with the blanket order with call-off model: we hold the goods in stock with us and/or in the partner warehouse, you call off partial quantities and pay on delivery. This saves you storage space, and the components still reach you on time, because we reduce the lead time to a minimum.
05
How do we report our demand?
By email, phone or order, in whatever way is usual in your purchasing department. We check every notification against the blanket order before it becomes a delivery. If something does not match the agreement, we call you instead of sending the wrong quantity. We agree the process with you in detail before the start.
