ESG documentation for your purchasing

Sustainability and ESG

at your supplier of fasteners.

ESG questions are part of supplier approval today. We take the work off your hands: we answer your questionnaires on supply chain, REACH and RoHS, and we obtain whatever is needed from the partner plants ourselves.

German Supply Chain Act (LkSG)

We handle your supply chain questionnaire, including information from the partner plants.

Many of our customers are implementing the German Supply Chain Act (LkSG). We are their direct supplier, an SME in Velbert with an average of 14–16 employees, some working part-time. We give them the answers they need from us for this.

Production takes place at partner plants in Germany, the EU and Asia. From there, we obtain what your questionnaire requires, such as the code of conduct with signature and stamp or the substance information for the material. We are your contact for this, a German GmbH in Velbert.

Three pillars

Environmental, social, governance.

And what we provide for each.

In Velbert, we work with an environmental management system to ISO 14001.

E1

ISO 14001 in Velbert

Certified by TÜV NORD CERT since 2021, for our Velbert site. The PDF is available above with the documentation.

E2

REACH and RoHS

If your component contains a substance of very high concern above 0.1%, we inform you. For RoHS, we specify the suitable material right away with the inquiry.

E3

CBAM

NORM+DREH is an officially authorised CBAM declarant. Our guide explains the carbon border adjustment mechanism.

Your components come from partner plants. What we expect there is agreed in writing.

S1

Code of Conduct

We agree our code of conduct with the partner plants in writing, with signature and stamp. We will gladly send you a copy.

Owner-managed, in the third generation. Our partner plants have signed our Code of Conduct. The current version is from 2026.

An EU ban applies to iron and steel made from Russian input materials. It is part of our business relationships with the plants.

Supplier evaluation

We continuously evaluate and audit our partner plants, in addition to internal audits. How this works is described under Quality.

Questions

Questions on ESG

and the supply chain.

01

Does the German Supply Chain Act (LkSG) apply to small suppliers?

It applies from 1,000 employees in Germany. According to the German Federal Office for Economic Affairs and Export Control (BAFA), it does not cover small and medium-sized enterprises like us. As a direct supplier, we support customers who implement it and answer their questionnaires.

02

Does NORM+DREH answer ESG and supply chain questionnaires?

Yes. We answer the part about our site ourselves, and we obtain what concerns your component from the partner plants. We will include the 2026 version of our Code of Conduct on request.

03

Are the components REACH and RoHS compliant?

If a component contains a substance on the Candidate List above 0.1% by mass, we inform you. This fulfils the information obligation under REACH. The regulation relies on information rather than certificates. RoHS applies to electrical and electronic equipment, and we specify the suitable material with your inquiry.

04

Is NORM+DREH certified to ISO 14001?

Yes, to DIN EN ISO 14001:2015 by TÜV NORD CERT, reg. no. 04 104 041648, valid until 29 October 2027. The certificate covers the sale of standard and special fastening parts and of thread locking systems in Velbert.

05

Do we need to query NORM+DREH for our CSRD report?

If your company is itself required to report, yes. Questions to suppliers with up to 1,000 employees then remain within the scope of the voluntary VSME standard. We will compile the information on our site for you.
